Hi, I'm Jonathan!

Although born and raised in Ohio, I spent much of my career in the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate NY, where I developed a deep connection to the land and to storytelling through imagery.

Over the years, I’ve hiked more than 8,000 miles, traveled to over 30 countries, and built a body of work featured in award-winning projects and dozens of publications. My time in the mountains taught me that photography is more than a craft — it’s a way to connect people to the beauty and meaning already present in the world.

Today, my goal is to use my work to benefit others — to help people and places be seen, to bring light where it’s needed, and to inspire hope through the art of photography. My faith shapes that vision profoundly; it’s what drives me to create with purpose, to serve with humility, and to see creation as a reflection of something greater.   Romans 1:20

“Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.”
— Don McCullin
